Schedules in teamwork with linked windows and doors......

Hi,

I have a specific question about interactive schedules and how to accomplish this:

- A teamproject with hotlinked modules; 4 houses (House A, B, C D) with the main floorplan mostly the same in many stories
- Have made a hotlink constructing the main floorplan and linking this to the different houses.
- The type of window has a specific ID; Type 01, Type 02 ........
- I want to be able to make schedules specific to house A, House B ..... etc.
I have tried to add to the searchcriteria elements to be able to only add windows inside a certain zone but this does not work if you don't have the zone attaching itself automatically to the walls
If you make a zone around the House A and search it does not give any results.

How can I accomplish this search and select to an interactive schedule with IDs with the same name
In House A can be windows with the same ID as in House B, C or D and I want to list them separately for each house.

Sincerely,

Dominicus

Does it function when I have all four houses on the same storey/plan
House A, B, C, D in the same file and on the same storey

The ID is the same in every house
Do you mean to name the linked modules in every house like; House A module 1, House B module 1 etc.
and then search for modules named like that?

But what then for the windows that are not linked with hot linked modules (1 floor) but are the same
Perhaps a different approach to those and have them in the search criteria differently - don't know yet but I'll figure it out

But if you have good ideas please let me know

Thanks,

Dominicus
You'll want to use the "Hotlink and Element ID" field (in the fields window of course...). It will appear as "House A W01"...

Hello,
I'm afraid you can't do it directly with schedules in AC17, unless you change the layer of each module and add the layer as a criteria...

Ok...
So it's easy. Add "Hotlinked module" under "ID and Categories" as criteria, and choose the module you want to show.

If you still have some ideas for how to accomplish this in AC20 as one of our huge projects is still in that version
AC 20 does not have the mentioned search functionality.

Any help would be appriciated

Thanks,
