Scheduling/Listing with Renovation Filters

I have not really needed to mess with the Renovation Filters until now. I wanted to run a material list for only the new construction, but I can not see anyway to set up the list schemes and use the Renovation Filters to select only the "New" construction. This can't be, but???? The only work around I can see is to copy the file, delete all the "old" construction, then run the list... really???

The Interactive Schedule is no help as you can't link to the data base and pull studs and other quantities.

I hope I am missing something?

I might misunderstand, but:

In the Schem Settings Dialog, in the Criteria panel you can sel the following Criterion:
"Renovation Status" "is" "New"
and that should list only those elements, no? Works for me.

Would you post a screen shot of what you see please. I'll bet I don't have the newest list scheme dialog loaded. That would explain it. I was assuming the actual "List scheme" is part of the app, but maybe it is loaded with "List Templets" folder? I'll attach a screen shot of what I see and is loaded.

thanks

Maybe I am not following what you are referring to. In the Find dialogue you can select Renovation "is" and "new", but not under "Link to Criteria" under Link Properties to Criteria. And, it that were the case that would mean setting up duplicate Property Objects for the various options, so that would not make sense. I guess I don't see where you are finding it?.

Sorry, I thought you are talking about Interactive Schedule. I did not pick up that you try to do this in old Listing.
I don't think any new feature has been added to the old listing for the last several versions besides adding the new element types in new versions to the listable elements.

Thanks... unfortunately it is still the only way to calculate many things (via Property Objects). One day maybe the IS will be able to do these things... studs, plates etc.

I agree, it would be great if Interactive Schedule also knew all the things the old listing can do.
