I would like to open a old old file (not 100% sure as to when it was created, I think it was in 2000), but it wont let me into the file. I keep getting the error.

"Cannot read old document version. (6.5)"

anyone can help me? or know how to get into this file. I am running a student version of ArchiCAD at home.

You will need version 10 to open a 6.5 file.
Version 12 can only open back to version 8 (8.1?).

File convertors can be downloaded here but not sure how they work if you are running a student version with a license serial number and not a WIBU key.
