Which polygon reducer do you recommend for 3ds-files?

Hi,

For a large scale conversion of 3ds-models to .gsm, which polygon reducer would you recommend?

MooTools Polygon Cruncher perhaps?

Cheers,
Mats

Try Polygon cryncher.
I tried Polygon cruncher, but I did not find it way better from the polygon reducer modifier in C4D, If You have C4D license I would suggest trying it first...if not Polygon cruncher is quite a good choice for mesh reducing - if I remember correct it does have in one bundle some tool for quick UV mapping correcting as well.

Piotr
You might try Accutrans: http://www.micromouse.ca/

I've used "Rational Reducer" by far the best there is except for the price
I recall we paid $5000US! Can't seem to find who sells it no but seems to be available as a demo.

Thanks all. I forgot to mention that it's Solid Works that's producing the models. Furniture producer using Solid Works and ArchiCAD. There are a few and that's the workflow I'd like to investigate further.
