If i remember correctly:

1. Verify that the Autocad file has 3D information. AC cannot create a 3D mesh if there are only 2D elements. While you are at it clean up the file so you only have what you need.

2. Go to File ->Libraries and Objects -> Open Object

3. Select "Browse for a Folder" and check that you have DWG as an option

4. Select the DWG file

5. Place the Mesh as an object and use Convert to Morph if you need to edit.

Lucky 95:

More information would help: is the dwg file a 2D site plan, a 3D dwg file, or some other view of the site? If you have the site as a properly formated txt file or xyz file, ArchiCAD can import that data a create a Mesh automatically (Place Mesh from Surveyors Data command).

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
