Hi!
I received from a door supplier a .rfa file (Revit family object) of one of their products. I have imported it in Archicad with Import RFA as GDL Object function, all is well, except that the door has a fixed height and width, which I cannot seem to be able to edit.
I can edit the thickness attribute, and it does stretch the element, but I couldn't find a solution for my problem online (and I've been looking for some hours already).
Anyone have any experience with this?
Edit:
Size variables are also locked if I open the GSM Object.
Operating system used: Windows

@CosminF ,
We are use to modify all parameters with Archicad objets but It does not deals with the same possibilities with RFA files.
I invite you to use Archicad objets instead of this RFA door because it possible.
Have a great day.

Hello @CosminF ,
I am not sure importing a rfa file make it editable but are you able to share the 2D and 3D GDL scripts ?
I am sure you are able to use Archicad doors instead of this rfa file to get the better graphic rendering.

Hi Christophe!
How can one export the scripts? I have tried to copy-paste the contents into separate .txt files but those cannot be uploaded here, so I'm assuming there's a smarter way to do it.

Please share here a drawing of your door and copy and paste 2d/3d scripts here or export a PDF from your txt file.

@CosminF ,
Sorry Archicad is able to import a éditable RFA file 🤗
This line into 2D script means 2D is a 3D projection : PROJECT2 3, 270,...
3D script is not as well done than an Archicad nativ script... What is about the part above the door. ?
Can you share the RFA file ?

The part above the door is the engine and rolling part (this is a vertically sliding door for a cold storage space).
Unfortunately I am not sure I can share the .rfa file as our project is NDA-bound currently and I do not want to put myself in a delicate situation regarding this.
I have already reached out to the supplier, to see if he can help with a more compatible BIM file, I just thought it could've been an easier fix..
edit: last-measure work-around would be to redo the object, export it in Blender, extrude its height and width and then re-import into Archicad.
