As of Archicad 24 Update 3, PARAM-O is part of the Archicad product and doesn’t need to be installed separately, as it is updated together with Archicad.
However, the previously installed PARAM-O (before Update 3) was installed separately as an add-on and the Archicad update will not be able to update it properly.

Read this article to learn what to do if you have PARAM-O already installed.

If you haven't installed Archicad 24 Update 3

If you have an older PARAM-O version installed, please uninstall it.

  • Go to the folder where the older Param-O.apx file was installed (typically, the Archicad “Add-Ons” folder usually at C:\Program Files\GRAPHISOFT\ARCHICAD 24).
  • Delete the.apx file.
  • Restart Archicad.

Note:

If your older version was in the Archicad “Add-ons/Standard” folder, it is automatically overwritten by the latest version. There is no need to uninstall it.

If you have already installed Archicad 24 Update 3

Previously installed PARAM-O Add-On will not be updated when installing Archicad 24 Update 3. The Archicad update will be installed but it will give error messages:
Some Add-Ons could not be loaded.
For more details open the Add-On Manager.

After opening the Add-On Manager, you will see an alert next to PARAM-O.

In this case you will have to do the same and uninstall PARAM-O:

  • Go to the folder where the older Param-O.apx file was installed (typically, the Archicad “Add-Ons” folder usually at C:\Program Files\GRAPHISOFT\ARCHICAD 24).
  • Delete the.apx file.
  • Restart Archicad.

As of Archicad 24 Update 3, PARAM-O is part of Archicad and doesn’t need to be updated separately, as it is updated together with Archicad.
