AC 13 Coordinate Input & Tracker

Hi -

I'm working in AC 13 build 3600 and it seems that after a recent update, when I try to input coordinates into the Tracker, they are placed relative to the Project origin, not the User origin. I do have the appropriate checkbox checked in ArchiCAD > Work Environment > Tracker and Coordinate Input > Show X-Y Coordinates relative to User origin in Tracker.

I like to use the tracker when inputing direct coordinates so I can easily see what I'm doing. Has anyone else noticed this or is there another checkbox I can check/uncheck? Or am I doing something else incorrectly?

Thanks,
Tom

It has nothing to do with user origin or project origin. You just need to set Relative Coordinates in your tracker.

Hi -

Strangely, the issue seems to come and go now. I did some searching and was not able to find the exact dialogue box that you posted. I am on a Mac - don't know if that makes a difference or not. Here are my options in Work Environment > Tracker and Coordinate Input:

It's there in macs too.
The option is in the Standard Toolbox (Window-Toolbox)

Thanks a lot! I'm not that familiar with some of the palettes as I don't use too many of them. I think I looked in every one for that option - except that one!

Thanks,
Tom

The screenshot gives you the way of toggling between relative and absolute coordinates for an operation. Absolute can be based on Project Origin or User Origin (which is what you're trying to achieve). I've not seen the problem you are facing in AC13 even after the latest update.
