AC15-Solid Modeling Terrains & Renovation Status Settings

Hi,

is there any way of getting the 'cut' portion of a terrain model (excavated via solid modeling) to show when Renovation Filter is set to 'as existing'?

Thanks,

Since SEOs exist regardless of Renovation Status, one way around this limitation is to copy the Existing Mesh, set the copy's Renovation Status to To Be Demolished, then use SEO to Subtract the To Be Demolished Mesh from the Existing Mesh. This new will then fill the hole under Existing Renovation Filter, but disappear for the Demolished and New Construction Filters.

David hi,

Excellent suggestion, I had not thought of that permutation. And of course all the SEO's relationships are live, so the cut/fill ratios will update with the building.

Many thanks,
