What are your machine specs and operating system?
Mainly how much RAM do you have.
Also make sure you have plenty of free space on your local hard disk.

64 bit operating system
and i have 16 GB of RAM. Here is not the problem. I also have like 9 GB free space on the local hard disk
The point is that when i open Archicad 22 for example, it works for all the PLN i open

Archicad 16 is an old program (probably only 32 bit not that that should matter), but it would not have been written to be used on your current operating system (Windows 10?).
That may be the problem.

You can open your old 16 files in 22 with no problem - you do not have to migrate libraries.
And if you don't save them they will remain as version 16 files.
If you are working on them and need to modify them, wouldn't you want to upgrade them to 22 anyway?

You do not have enough free disk space, 9Gb is not enough for the operating system and active programs to write temporary files and undertake background maintenance tasks etc as a minimum you should have at least twice your ram as free disk space

Time to spend $100 and get a couple of extra terabytes.

I am constantly surprised at how little importance many users on this forum place on the quality / sufficiency of the tool they use for most of their workday. Subcontractors on site routinely spend more on a nail gun or drill than many here spend on a computer
