Atypical bargeboard connection

Hi I have atypical roof construction and I would like to do bargeboard

1. White is from object
2. Blue is from beam - profile manager
3. Invisible Railing
4. Red is morph

Do you have some idea how to do it ? I tried all ways what i know but no of it is right
- object is not connecting
- beam profile also have wrong connection
- railing is have some issue to be show
- morph is curving with 3th angle what I don't want it

Thanks Heimo. Didn't know that first point of the extrude had to be the first of the path.
But this bargeboard issue is more complex, as the profile in the first pitch is not the same in the final one. The last pitch with a 45 degree angled edge generates an angle in the top board of the profile that covers the tiles.
Anyway... I think that the OP should talk first with the carpenter that will build this thing. He will surely give some good insights.

That is in fact the bottom line here all along.

The correct placement of profiles and their different shapes is a non-trivial problem, that however carpenters are solving for ages now.
In the end there will probably more than one profile needed.

A good read I can recommend is ThisIsCarpentry.

The profile cant be the same with fitting-cuttings other angles than 90° or 0° - better - just a turn in only one plane would work.

In the real world on the buildingsite - prefabricated profiles are used. The carpenter or who ever has to make it real has to compensate the errors in the fitting profiles.

Some things cant work. Its better to plan solutions with corner-elements, where the profiles can connect clean.
Thiscarpenty is a really good site to show you the existing solutions - nothing to develop new..

@runxel
Thanks for the links Lucas. They will go straight to my carpentry bookmarks.
Yes. It will surely need more than one profile to do the trick.

@Hmooslechner
Yes. Corner/node transitional elements will make the process a little easy. But still very tricky.
Thank you much for video and solution 😉

Its good to see lots of options for how to model things and I understand the desire to not pay for third party objects... but, my solution produces the best, faster, and it is a tool built for the application. Plus you can switch profiles with a single click (that's a lie, it's actually 2 clicks).

Also if you do the math (remember as a GDL coder math is one of my strengths), you are saving time and money with my solutions, lots of it, that's why I do it. most of you know me and know I have been doing this for almost 2 decades. This tool is almost 10 years old. We are not a fly-by-night solution provider who will disappear. We are Archicad experts dedicated to the software and the community, and have been for years.

I understand and your tool is great.
Problem is not for paying 250$ or more. The problem is just process how to ask for this money from our company and also I have to have more reasons than just one thing. This process usually take more time than find another solution. Also 3.th party plugins are usually not supported for next ArchiCADs or new iOS system this are actually the problems.

I can imagine if I work alone that this problem are not existing.

Thank you for trying to help maybe

P.S.: You are doing good work it just not work for me/us unfortunately.
P.P.S. :Last time when I applied for Rhino license and it take 1,5 year

Not plugins, just straight GDL and therefore automatically compatible with successive versions, no update required just continue using the same tool on all versions of Archicad (from AC21 onwards).

But I understand the time it takes to ask for money from the directors. Its a shame, if you would like me to answer some questions that would help with convincing the directors please feel free to email me at: kristian@cadswift.com.au

P.S. thanks for the kind words.

Even for small one man show practices... Shrinking market... Low income clients... Tuff times Kristian.
Yeah tough times indeed. I hope things improve for everyone soon.
