Create stairs in Archicad 16

Hi!
I'm new to the forum and new to ArchiCAD so please bear with me...
I tried searching the forum, but couldn't find an answer to my question, so I'm hoping someone will help me out!

I'm trying to create an L-shaped stair and I can't figure out how to change the stair that comes in ArchiCAD library to the properties of the stair I want to create. For example - how do I change the number of steps? When I try to change the measurements, in one direction, it changes in other directions too, how do I prevent that? Can I create a custom stair instead of using one in the library? Also, the stair I'm trying to draw doesn't have a landing in the corner, rather the steps wrap around the corner (if you understand what I mean, I'm not sure of the terminology).

Very grateful for any suggestions! Thanks!

You have a couple of options if you can't get the stairs in the library to work for you. Either click on "create stair" in the stair tool settings and you will open stairmaker or if your stair has an irregular shape you can use the "create stair from selection" option under the design menu.

Thanks! This helped a lot! (How did I miss that little button before?).
