Creating Custom 3D Library Parts Without Using GDL

I have done this before, but now I can't seem to get it to work. I'm not sure if there is a bug, or I am doing something wrong.

I am trying to make a framing angle part, using the method here:
http://aec.cadalyst.com/aec/article/articleDetail.jsp?id=370039

I use the method to flip part B upwards, and it appears to be successful in the 2D plan view, but in 3D it is still lying flat.

What is going wrong here? Am I putting in the wrong angles in Part 3 of the method?? Or is this a bug?

The method shown flips the entire part to vertical. To make the bend you need to edit the code to rotate one half relative to the other. (I assume you have modeled the two parts out of slabs.)

If you want to do it entirely without writing code, you can make each half as a separate part, place them together and resave the two as a single part.
