Favorites not retaining Layer information

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hello! I can't sort out why my favorites don't seem capable of retaining Layer information. Currently whenever I activate a favorite it just places it on whatever layer was active before.

I found this thread from a while back with a solution: https://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=45611
...but I can't find the "Favorites Preferences" panel where you used to be able to fix this. Seems to have been removed?

Any ideas?
Thanks!

In 23 (& 22?) it is still in the settings button of the favourites palette, but it is now called "Element Transfer Settings".

You can now save multiple transfer settings, so you can have one that does change the layer and another that doesn't.
You set one as default but you can right click on a favourite and choose any of the transfer settings you have set up.
