Grid Element Options Missing (can't create curved Grid)

Hello!

I found myself in need to create another curved grid element on my project. The horror began when I found out that the options on the quick access pallet are mostly missing (see screenshot)!

I have created curved grid elements before and all the options of the other tools appear normally. I can create curved grid elements from the Design Grid System menu, but that's not the point

Any ideas?
