Hole through amorphous shape

Hello again. Now I have my shape with a thickness, I now want circular holes through it Any ideas? I can make rectangular holes in rectangular slabs but not circular ones in irregular slab. Any ideas>

Same way you made the slab. Draw a circle/shape over your slab. Select the slab. Magic wand the circle/shape.

You can also change to the subtraction option while the slab is selected then just draw your hole.

Pretty sure this is all in the beginner documents.
