How can I apply gradient fill on objects in floor plan?

Unfortunately Gradient fills are not available as a Cover Fill, only Drafting Fill.

But, you can apply a gradient fill on slabs, roofs etc...
The circles you see are the fill handles allowing you to change the gradients profile.

...maybe in AC17 (I haven't checked), but not in AC16, so probably not 12 if that is what evklek is actually using as per signature.
