How can I use my newer AC template on a project that has been started before?

The new template has favorites, wall types, building materials, Layout sheets and other misc settings that would be beneficial to the project.

Favourites can be imported from any file into your open file - click on the settings button in the favourite palette.

Wall types, building materials, etc. are 'Attributes'.
These can be transferred from one file to another with the 'Attribute Manager'.
Warning: this can get very messy.
There are quite a few posts in this forum about using the attribute manager.

Layouts too can be transferred from one file to another.
Open the 'Drawing Organiser'.
It is the same as the Navigator but has 2 panels.
On the left you can open any other project and then drag the layouts to the current project on the right.
However all drawings on those layouts will still be linked to the original project they come from, so you will have to re-link to views in the current file (internal views).
Layouts are so easy to create I am not sure it is worth the effort, unless you have many to copy.
