How to create one story building from many stories?

Hi,
I have a multistory building which I'd like to change to a one story building. I need to change home story but the elemenst reposition themsevles and I need to manually keep track and check everything which will take me all day. Is there a smarter way to change the home story to one single story for all elements on all floors?
Cheers,
Mats

Insert your .pln as modules on one story in to a new project, reposition the modules and then break them.

You can do it one element type at a time - i.e. select all walls then all slabs, etc.
Then just click on the 'Home storey' in the info box and choose 'Select Storey" and chose the storey you want the elements t be on.
They should retain their relative height in in 3D and appear unmoved.

This was in 16 - it is different in 17 though.
You must use the 'Relink Home Storey' command (Edit menu > Element Settings > Relink Home Storey).
