Unfortunately objects don't have the option for overhead / uncut line types in the object settings.
Storey sensitivity has to be scripted into the object.
If this has been done then in the parameters (custom settings) you will find the options.
Like stairs allowing you to show and hide treads on different stories and changing their line types.
But if it hasn't been scripted in (and I am guessing it hasn't) then you are out of luck.

So it is either 2D line work in one of the stories or convert the object to a morph and then you will have the overhead / uncut line type control.

how sad....back to resorting to 2D linework "ontop of" the 3D objects location....how very sad.
