Issue, Snap to single-plane roof edge intersection with surface

Working with intersecting roof surfaces in AC25.

For a multiplane roof its possible to snap to the intersection between its edges and the surface of another roof.

For a single-plane roof its not possible to snap to the intersection between its edges and the surface of another roof.

Am I missing something or is this a limitation/bug?

Select the roof you are trimming the edge to, then hold control and click the edge of the roof you want to be trimmed.

Side note this does not work well with multi pitch roofs.

Thank you. Now I understand more.

Thanks for the tip and it also works with extensions!

However, the need for the snap was to make openings in the "other roof" that gets intersected. So it remains a question why it only works for multiplane roofs. Just as it is questionable why your tip only works singleplane roofs.
