Key in coordinates not working?

In AC8 I used to be able to hover the cursor over a point, key in Y 3 minus, press enter and start drawing from that point 3m below where I started.

Can't do that in AC9 unless I click the mouse instead of press enter key. This means that it is no longer accurate because I can move the mouse inadvertantly as I click.

Or am I doing something wrong?

Really? I'm using same platform and system as you so must be some work preference I've got set up perhaps.

You were on the button Dwight - and it is generally a nicer experience with more gravity.
