Lock lines and fills to other objects

I’d like to see the possibility to lock lines and fills (among other objects like walls, floors, columns, etc.) and definitely trace references to other objects. So when you move, stretch, etc. the lines and fills adjust with it.

Hi, I think it can be done in Revit so sure it can be found in Archicad if it’s really useful cuz I see I don’t need to lock 2D lines and fills to 3D elements which have all possible attributes ( lines, fills, pen colors, Graphic Overrides, etc. ) but you may have a special case makes you need this locking function, can you explain it pls?

You can 'Group' any elements together.

Then so long as your grouping is enabled (not suspended), they will move as one element.

Stretching is not so good as the entire group will move rather than stretch - you must suspend groups to stretch.

That’s not what I mean Barry Kelly. I’d like to lock, for example, fills to trace references, so when the model is changed the fills adapts.
