Low walls through door openings

I can't remember how to alleviate this problem. Low walls going through the arched door opening are cut.

Without testing I am not sure if increasing the priority strength of the Building Material for the short walls so it is greater than the BMs in the main wall would work in this case.

But I think placing them in a separate layer with a different intersection priority number to the layer the main walls are in should work.

Thanks Barry. Intersection priority didn't work but adjusting the building material strength did.

view with building material strengths adjusted.

Changing the layer priority in the layer dialogue does work, I use this technique regularly for base that run through gypsum wrapped openings. You have to make sure that you also update the layer combination as well so that the changed layer priority sticks.

Thanks. I've not used the layer priorities much. But they are solving modeling issues on many levels.

Glad that helps.
