Multi-plane Roof real angle

I've noticed that it's not possible to control a Multi-plane Roof real slope angle until it's changed to a Single-plane Roof.

Is it normal behavior?

And the Single plane one.

Works here. A dialog box should appear when changing this value asking if you want to keep the custom values (gables in your example). It does not work if the slope values have been changed individually from the original setting (i.e. in your example the roofs are not currently 35˚).

David,

The dialog box appears only by changing this value by typing the given number.
I wasn't aware that after adjusting the Multi-roof geometry in 3D nothing changes in its displayed slope value.
That's why I'v got a little mess in project now after discovering that real roof slope angle is a little lower than required by the local code.

Thank you anyway.

The problem with the multi-plane roof is the dialogues can only show you one pitch - the original as it was modelled (unless you change the pitch of all roof planes then this value will change as well).

The settings dialogue will give you a warning symbol when the pitches are not all the same but the info box does not.
But that is not much use as you can't leave the settings dialogue open all the time.

Barry.

That's why unless pitch info box is interactive like for the Single plane Roof, once changed from the original it should be grayed out, otherwise it's very confusing simply showing the wrong value.

Thank you,
Marek
