Navigator window auto-close feature – gone in AC11?

Anonymous
Not applicable
In prior releases, the Navigator window used to auto-close once the view you select opens (assuming you had the 'stick pin' toggled to the auto close position).

There is no longer a stick-pin icon. Is that feature gone now? Do you have to manually close the Navigator window every single time?

it's still there, but there is no longer a stick pin - just right-click on the top of the navigator and choose 'Auto-Hide Navigator'

That's interesting. Does your navigator autohide? Mine doesn't.

The Organizer autohides, but then it's pin is a button, like always.

Wonder if it's a bug?

Cheers,
Link.

both navigator and organiser work the same way - as in the screenshot above. they both have the auto-hide function in the context menu, and both auto-hide when asked to. you've got a PC bug i'd say . . .

I'm not sure if I had noticed this before, but autohide only works with the navigator when it is not docked. But it works docked or undocked for the Organizer.

This is on PC and since there's no docking on a Mac, that's why we experience different results.

I better tell my local reseller about this!

Cheers,
Link.

if it works docked or undocked for the organiser, i would still say that it's a bug with the navigator.

macs don't have 'docking' but they do 'snap' - to edges and each other. my navigator and organiser both auto-hide if i want them to whether snapped or floating . . .

who's your local reseller mate?!
