Objects in Plan view disappears from view when turning on trace reference

I'm on a view off one of my storeys, everything is looking fine. I turn on the trace everything and the trace reference appears but everything on the storey turns disappears from view (i can still click it)

The trace reference is definitely turned to translucent (i.e. the intensity is halfway only).

When I'm on a worksheet view and turn on the trace reference there is no issue

Anyone know what's going on?

Sorry - it's because my "Active" slider was down at 0

I never knew what that did - stupid me!

Is the 'Reference on top' button active?
Try toggling it on/off.

Yes, tried both ways, still nothing.

i've attached two screenshots showing what happens. you can see in the second image I can select stuff, but it's just all white. It's weird.

Have you tried using a different trace reference?
