Opening from window

Hi,

I'm experimenting with the new opening tool. I can't seem to find a way to create an opening from a window.

Is it even possible ? Any help appreciated.

The new opening tool in 23 has nothing to do with windows.
All it does is create empty openings in some elements.

What is it that you are trying to do?

I understand that barry, what i mean is i want to be able to transfer the dimensions of a window to the opening tool using the pickup tool or any other method to save time.

Ah, I understand what you want now.
The problem is openings, doors and windows are all separate tools so it may not be possible.
It would be like ALT clicking a column and CTRL+ALT clicking a wall to pass on the height settings.
You can't even transfer a door size to a window, and they are essentially the same tool.

It is very easy to stretch an opening to match a window in 3D though.
