PARKING PLACE 24 Dimensional Issues

Jeff Galbraith
Advocate

Anyone else have issues with the Parking Place 24 object?  There seems to be a bug with it.  a 26 foot wide object should be enough for one regular 9 foot wide stall plus one ADA stall (9 foot wide + 8 foot aisle).  However with the object you have to stretch it out almost another foot get it to register.  And you can see from the screenshot below that the hotspot associated with the edge of the parking stalls are not aligned with the stripes in 2 locations.

It is a nice tool, but it does not appear as 'road-tested' 😉 as some objects.  I use it for conceptual planning and my workaround is to use it in single stall type sections, and not use the combination feature.  That also helps me make design edits a bit easier.

(It appears to move off dimension with different stall stripe widths. )
