Pens suddenly ALL BLACK

ALL my pens in ALL my stories (etc) have suddenly gone BLACK.

I'm working in AC11 and figure this is a display option I wasn't aware of but I can't figure out how to turn it off so I can see the actual pen colors. (this happened after installing the newest lib updater).

Any advice??

Your pens have passed the audition for the New Zealand rugby team.

Have all your pen sets turned black as well (or are they still okay)?

Have you tried switching the pen set?
It may have inadvertently got switched when doing the "newest lib updater"??
Try: Options>Element Attributes>Pens and Colors

I've had this issue as well. Just re-apply your pen set and you'll get your colors back. Like this:
Try: Options>Element Attributes>Pens and Colors
Choose the right Pen set and OK.

An addition: I've checked a little, and it seems this problem occurs only when you've changed a pen (this will change the pen set to "Custom") and NOT Named and Saved it as a new Pen Set. If you then save the view and save the project and quit, Archicad will display the view in question in greyscale next time you open the project and access this view in the Navigator.

I guess it's a minor bug, but since the recommended practice is to always name and save your pensets, and always attach a named penset to each saved view, I don't regard it as serious.

This is also a symptom of what I think is an OpenGL bug (everything suddenly displays as black, including white fills).

Hitting "save" can often clear it for a while, but only long term solution I have found is to exit & restart ArchiCAD when it starts happening
