Everything seems in order. I think this is quite a strange problem; I can work without any issue on the first floor of my project, but on the second floor, everything I try to do regarding walls take a lot, then the multi-colored spinner pops up.
I tested it with Archicad 25 INT, but have no slowness issue. But I notice that, Trace & Reference function is active. It doesn't cause any slowness on my end, but this could be the source of the problem. I'm wondering if you turn off Trace & Reference, as well as the Guide Lines, does it help with performance?
Usually, in a very big project, Trace & Reference can cause big slowness, for example, Archicad is processing two plans having two different view settings. But, the project you sent us is quite small, so I couldn't come up with an idea why it is slow. I would like to ask you to carry out the following test:
1. Start Archicad and open the project file
2. Turn on Trace & Reference
3. Try to reproduce the issue
4. While Archicad freezes/is slow, please collect a few samples process (3 to 4 would be enough), based on this guide
Then please send them to the previous link in the Private Message.
I am sorry for the late reply. I have sent the samples to you via the file request form you sent me last time. I also sent my project because Archicad also freezes every time I try downloading/using an object. Please turn on the Trace & Reference, then try to work with the walls. I wonder if this is a computer problem, but the rest of the functions seem to be working fine.
I tested the latest file, however, I didn't encounter any slowness either. Upon opening the file, I noticed that it is created with AC24 3008. Could you please make sure that the latest update is installed (6004) and check back if the issue persists with Trace & Reference?
