Struggling with Finish Schedule

Eric Milberger
Advocate

I have added several columns of data I would like to see in my schedule:

Fo Example Base Trim

Ceiling

and

Ceiling Finish

I HAVE ADDED COLUMNS TO MY ROOM FINISH SCHEDULE

THEE DATA FOR EACH COLUMN IS LAID OUT THE SAME AS THE ORIGINAL

"FLOOR"  AND "FLOOR FINISH"

NONE OF THE NEW PLACED WILL GIVE ME A PULL DOWN?

And is this pull down data to match what is in your zone label on the plan?

w2.PNGS4.PNGs3.PNGs2.PNGs1.PNG

In each case the 1st option works but the 2nd option of Finish for all does not give me a pull down.

So

1.  My Zone label does not match the schedule

2.  My added columns in the schedule does not allow for a pull down

First, add a classifications to your zone,

Next, In the properties manager, under the "availability" tab, check that your property is available for classifications,

It appears to be as you suggest as I am using the bom6x template to begin with.  (Starter template)

but I don't think I am in the right place as It DOES have a classification for space, and this may have to do with some standard, but none of the spaces I woudl expect are listed.

Bathrooms, Offices, Classrooms, Storage, Circulation, MEP Rooms, etc

But yes they appear to already have classification available and Sill no pull down.

I now understand a little better but not quite as it appears "Ceiling" is a Zone
(which I did not think it was a zone but a property applied to many different zones)

And is is in the available list

And the :Ceiling Finish" is NOT available.

Now I cannot find out how to make it available.

THANK-YOU  for the help and direction.

Part of the issue as when I would make some changes the option sets were emptied.  Causing confusion.

Got it now so thank-you for getting this off my list.

In the first screenshot, I see that the selected Zone has a Property called "Finish - Ceiling" and its value is filled out properly.

However, in the other screenshots of the Scheme Settings Dialog and the generated Schedule, I can see that you scheduled a Property called "Ceiling Finish".

So I think you either did not fill out the values for the correct Property, or you are scheduling the wrong Property.

In the Property Manager, check both the "Finish - Ceiling" and the "Ceiling Finish" Properties.

1. Is an Option Set defined for them?

2. Are they made available for "Space" Classifications?

And also check that Zones are classified as "Space".
