Surface Heat Coefficients

Hi,

I've been experimenting with EcoDesigner for a passive home design that i've been working on. I'm a bit confused on what the figures under the 'Internal and External Heat Coefficients' dialog box are. This setting can be adjusted within the Environmental setting. Does anyone have any insight into this number? I also wondering if there is somewhere where I can acquire a breakdown of the figures in the results generated. The generated total energy figure is in 'kBtu/a'? Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

Are you after U-values calculator's Heat coefficients values? If so, please read ArchiCAD reference guide Page 1561. Hopefully it helps you what these values are, otherwise please attache the screenshot of the setting's dialog from EE.

Cheers,

I am actually curious about this setting in the 'Environmental Controls'. I am also curious which of the numbers in the results generated would tell me exactly the kBtu/a is to heat the home. Thanks
