Surface Settings - "Element Pen"

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hi all,

According to this Help page, under Surface Settings > Element Pen > selecting this radio button will: "Check the Element Pen radio button to display the vectorial pattern in the color assigned to the uncut line pen."

Link: https://helpcenter.graphisoft.com/guides/archicad-20/archicad-20-reference-guide/user_interface_refe...

However, I have not found that to be true.

1) I created a new file.
2) I created a new morph.
3) The morph has its Structure "Aluminium", which has a surface of Metal - Aluminium.
4) The surface Metal - Aluminium has a brickwork hatch, with the radio button selected on "Element Pen"
5) I have created an Elevation looking at this morph, so that the morph is not being cut. There are no graphic overrides nor does the Elevation settings have no uniform pen settings. The morph settings has everything pen colour as black.
6) As per the attached, the background colour is being determined by the Surface Colour. BUT, where is this yellow line work coming from?
7) Turns out for some reason it is being set by whatever pen colour occupies pen index #1. I have successfully replicated this by changing colour #1 and the linework for this particular morph changes to match.

Bug?

Thanks David - so it is a bug. Hopefully will be fixed in the next release.
