Top of wall colour

Hi all,

What determines the top horizontal surface of wall colour in plan?

I have a half height garden wall 200mm thick 500 high that is not being cut by the 2D floor plan view. It's showing up as white but there seems to be nowhere to determine this colour.

Within the Model Panel of the Wall Settings Dialog.

(unless it's a Complex Profile -- in that case the Surface is defined by the Profile)

Unless you're referring to a Cover Fill in the Plan Window, in which case I don't believe there's a way to control this setting.

Hi.
There's no setting per se, but you can define a GO rule that filters those walls and overrides their cover/uncut fill types.
Be careful with the filter though, as a simple "all walls" filter will also override the cover fills of doors and windows' sills.

Best regards.

Hm - OK.

Laura - yes I am referring to 2D plan drawings.

Do you guys see this as a draw back?
In my residential projects I often have various half height walls in hardscape design

Some are masonry walls
Some are timber sleeper walls
I don't want them all appearing just as white

We've never had an issue with it -- that's what notes are for
