Trimming and completing Curtain Walls

Anonymous

i have a big dilemma regarding Curtain walls.
i'm working on the following building and i edited the curtain-w scheme (random drops here and there) but i want to know how to complete the missing empty space (between curtain-w frame and next slab) with a solid wall.
if i add a wall behind the curtain wall, i can't figure out how to intersect it and delete the part behind the curtain wall (tried solid operations, intersections, anything possible but can't figure out how to get it right.)
is my thought process wrong?
Thank you!

Try this:
Drag a copy of the Curtain Wall so it is under/in plane with the solid Wall.
Solid Element Operation: solid Wall is Target, Curtain Wall is Operator, Operation: Subtract with Downward Extrusion.
Put the SEO Curtain Wall on a hidden layer.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.
