This ain't pretty.
[A double door 1'-8" wide ain't either. But that's another story.]

Well if it a problem in the object I am guessing you will have the same problem with the real door.
Is there an option to control the gap between the 2 door leafs?
It will need to be wider as the doors get narrower.

This still may not be perfect though as the hinge point for the door may not be exactly on the edge of the frame.
The smaller you doors are the more exaggerated this problem will be.

No, the guy doing the door knows how to do doors, and in any case physics will not allow the overlap of two doors in space.

Or of course rebate the touching edges of the doors so they overlap and one has to be opened before the other.
But I don't think your object will have that option - at least the door in the AUS library doesn't seem to.

I would just make a point of not showing them open at that angle on the plans.
There are many improvements that could be made to the door and window objects.
