Undocumented Feature of AC20 that I like

Anonymous
Not applicable
Hello everyone.
I saw something that has not been shown in the videos of the new features of AC20 so far. Is nothing mayor but I like it and is very practical. And this is the zone names list, where you have next to the zone name field an arrow with a list of names to name your zone. I think is a very nice and useful feature, but I have not found how to edit that list to add and erase names, Does anybody knows how to edit this list?

This has been in the Zone Stamp for a few versions now.
I think it is available only with the "Zone Stamp 02 20" zone stamp.
Such value lists can be defined in the Parameter Script.
In case of "Zone Stamp 02 20" the Master Script calls a macro called "Zone_stamp_macro". You need to open that macro for editing.
In its Master Script you will find the definition of these value from line 153, starting with this code:
dim stRoomNames[43]
Add new value as needed, modify values as needed and make sure that you change the value 43 to the highest value defined.

Since this macro is part of the ARCHICAD Library 20.lcf file, you would have to extract the LCF, modify the macro, then recreate the LCF.

Ohh, Thanks, Laszlonagy, I didn't knew that, I can't find it in AC19 USA, the only zone stamp I have is Zone_Stamp_1 19, and I did not notice it in previous versions.

So, this feature is only available in the INT version?
Cause I have AC20 INT version, but before I was using USA versions.

It is available with the "Zone Stamp 02 20" Zone Stamp, but not available with the "Zone Stamp 01 20" Zone Stamp, which is a simpler kind of Zone Stamp.
So it is available in all localized versions where the "Zone Stamp 02 20" Zone Stamp is available.

I don't know if it's documented or not....
but I like how the "Quick Options Bar"
(and the "Quick Options Palette")
now have the means to open the settings
for each function, i.e.:Layer Combos, Model view options,
Pens & Colors, etc...

Yes, this has been introduced in AC19 in the Quick Options Palette.
And now in AC20 it is also incorporated into the Quick Options Bar.

I never noticed.
Help tags in AC19 doesn't differentiate between the two,
as it does in AC20.
