Vectorial hatches on multi-plane roofs

Barry Kelly

Is anyone else having this trouble with the vectorial hatching on multi-plane roofs in version 17?
Show incorrectly on some surfaces when using the Internal engine in 3D and on elevations.
The OpenGL textures align fine.
This is from the INT Windows version build 3002.

Barry,

This does appear to be a glitch. I can reproduce in USA version as well. I will notify HQ about it. Thanks for bringing the matter to light. The quickest workaround I have found for the meantime is to either split the roof into single roof planes or convert to Morph.

Thanks Nick.
I was just curious as I haven't got the AUS version yet.
Managed to get the INT version but it is only build 3002.
I believe there is a build 3013 hotfix for INT, USA and GER but my INT was saying it was up to date.
I will manually download and install it.
There was nothing in the hotfix release notes to say this was fixed though.

I did report it in Beta testing but it was worse then.
The hatch was completely horizontal (i.e. rotated 90°) on some faces.
Now it seems parallel with the hips.
Just hoping this is not the "fixed" version.
