You can't unless you turn on the legacy option in Project Preferences to make connections behave as they did in version 16 and before.
But you will lose all of the automatic connections between walls, slabs, beams etc.
Why do you want it to mitre like that - that is not how it is build?
Quantities will be perfectly fine if that is what you are worried about.
And the 3D model will look fine.
