Wall hatch/ doors with renovation filter

Hello!  I am using Archicad 25 and am working on my first project.  I have been working on using the renovation filter to hatch the new walls on the floorplan.  The problem that I am having is that in some instances the wall hatch is running over my new door.  (See attached screenshot of D-08 to see what I mean).  How do I control this?  It only seems to occur on some doors, for instance, D-07 is showing up as intended.  Thanks!Screen Shot 2021-10-13 at 10.35.28 AM.png

Edit: I found a fix by sending the wall to the back.

Does this mean that you have two Walls in the same place on the Floor Plan, and one has a Door, the other does not?

Could you give us the reasoning of why you are doing it this way.

You said you are working on your first project so there may be some tips we can give you.
