Wall skins in AC 17

Hi

I try to se the diferent matterial cut and their collor in a 3D sektion cut.
I tried everything but I cant find the parameter in question.

First if you have opened a file from an older version you must turn the legacy mode off.
If you have started from a 17 template then it should be off by default but it may pay to check.

Next turn of the surface over-rides for your wall.
If that are on then you control the surface.
If they are off then the wall will use the Building Materials and with your other settings (in particular the cut surface setting to use element attributes) you will see the individual wall skins.

Check your renovation settings, these can override the appearance of your elements.
Also, is that 3D window with internal engine or a 3D Document? How does it look like in the 3D window using OpenGL?

I am sorry I opended a new template and imported my project.
I am not able to check that out burt the renovation criteria should be it i think.
the screenshot was taken from the original 3D view.
