Being new to Archicad - should we expect a v8.5 before
v9. Based on the past upgrades, when should we expect
a new version?

Based on the screenshot...
Wouldn't Autodesk sue the pants off GS?

And for that they make people sign a Non Disclosure Agreement?

AutoCAD : If you cant' beat 'em (Datacad), give your program away for free (initially at least, until people are so used to it they can't live without it and then you can stick them for whatever price you want! )

AutoCAD : If you can't beat 'em (Revit), buy them out !!

AutoCAD : If you can't beat 'em (ArchiCAD), turn them into AutoCAD !???

Rumour: Lightwork rendering to be incorporated into Archicad 9? Is it true?

And now also the first screenshot!
Stefan,
You are not only funny, you are very very very clever. That screen shot is absolutely hysterical! I hope everyone has a chance to see it.

So are we any closer to finding out at least in generic terms when we can expect the next (8.5 or 9.0) version? Will it be this year or next (for starters)?

Or if even that's too much, when can we expect to hear a more official announcement of when to expect it... (mostly for those who need to add another station, and are hoping to not be forced to pay twice - once for 8.1 and once for 9.0 upgrade)?

I mean, it'd be nice to know...
