X's at vertices showing in some sections now -- little help?

Some sort of drafting aid is turned on & I can't seem to turn it off

It's on in some sections but not in others...

How do I turn this off?

Hi,

i think you have marked those nodes with hotspots.

if you go to the hotspot tool

AllanP_4-1677800412827.png

and select all ("CTRL+A" on windows, "CMD+A" on apple), then all those hotspot nodes will be selected.

if you have not connected dimensions to those hotspots, then it is safe to delete them.

to mark points with hotspots you can:

select lines,

in my example i have select the vertical lines,

select the hotspot tool

then "CTRL+CLICK",(I think its "CMD + CLICK" for Mac Computers) on the angled edge and it will mark where the angles edge meets those selected lines with hotspots.

i have my hotspots set to red so they standout.

i think that on an Apple you can have elements selected, be in the pointer tool and just "CMD+CLICK" on the edge to add the hotspots.

sorry, i am now working on a windows computer so i cannot confirm that.

hotspots do not print.

i hope this helps
