This is very similar to a question you have asked before: http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=187138&highlight=#187138

In this case you would only add the step of adjusting the railing for the horizontal curvature of the ramp. I would use columns for the balustrades and a spiral beam for the railing.

If you use the rail or fence objects the complete rail will have to be composed of several straight segments adjoining each other.

Using objects in AC14 Library! In one segment only.

Andro55,

Thank you for illuminating me about this feature. I have never noticed the Rail and Parameter Input Type parameter before now, even though it was right under my nose.

Ahmed, do what Andro55 says.

a railing system like this ? http://archicad-talk.graphisoft.com/viewtopic.php?p=216476&highlight=pipe+railing#216476

If you want it, I think I could still find the ArchiCAD model for this set of pipe railing objects I made.

Can you so a picture or example of the kind of railing you need for the ramp?
