composite ( and other) settings between linked files

Not applicable
If I am working with several modules on a PLN and let say I change the settings of one composite wall in the PLN.

Do I have to change the same settings in all the modules that uses the same wall ?

Shouldn't it be centralized ? maybe like a library ? Or am I missing something ?
Even if you have set up your standards already very well you end up tweaking, adding.

is there a straight forward way to achieve this ?

Sergio

.PLN attributes are stored in the file and act independently. You would have to update each .PLN file.

.MOD files do not store attributes and act "transparently" with the file that they are inserted/Hotlinked into. You would only have to maintain the "master" file that you are working in.

Hope this helps explain.

Thanks David,

that is exactly what I was trying to figure out. The differences between PLN and MOD.
