I wanted to create the curved arc like opening as seen in the pic below don on AutoCAD.In the terrace floor I need a rectangular& an arc opening for a curtain wall to be inserted, in the ground floor veranda like element I've a large opening with both rectangular & curved opening when we see it in perspective.
My problem is how to get that curved like opening.
Please help me soon.
Many Thanks

heynock:

For the upper opening, you can use the W Arch Opening 14 window. For the lower opening you can combine the W Arch Opening Half 14 and W Rectangular Opening 14 windows.

You should add a Signature to your Profile (click the Profile button near the top of this page) with your ArchiCAD version and operating system (see mine for an example) for more accurate help in this forum.

Thanks Dave,
I thought there could be another way of editing the element.

Or, the other method is to create the side view of the opening using a Slab.
Then set its ID to "WALLHOLE".
View it in Top Parallel View in 3D (Viewpoint at 270 degrees) and save the 3D as a Window. File\Libraries and Objects\Save 3D Model As command.
Save it as a Window.
Then you will be able to place it into the Wall.
The "WALLHOLE" ID will cause the slab to be interpreted as a hole.
