editable Grid on Window will not join!

Hi,

I'm creating a simple window from the object library, using the item "fixed Windows" with editable grid. I've increased the frame thickness, however I cannot get the inner vertical sash to meet the central horizontal sash.

I've attached a image but will most more upon request to see which setting needs altering. Editing the sash in elevation or 3D does not work
