hi all

i am stuck with understanding how libraries work

i have pln project files with objects from AC 65,AC 10,AC 11, AC 12, AC 13
and currently using AC 14

its a mess, how do i automatically use every one of them in each new project.

also, is is possible to talke all used objects from current AC 14 project, pack into 1 LCF, and use it, together with AC 14 native lib and delete all the rest ?

hope that someone can help me

thanks alot!

The main ways to manage libraries when migrating to a new version are:

1. Load the new full library plus the migration library or libraries used in prior versions on the project. This can get cumbersome if the project runs across a few years/versions.

2. Save the project as an archive with the old libraries loaded.

3. Embed the old parts and then unload the old libraries.

You DON'T want to load all the libraries since v6.5. Trust me. It would be unpleasant.
