railing tool custom panel?

forgive me if i've missed the obvious but is it possible to model a fence panel and then have that be used as the 'panel' with the railing tool?

thank you, it does.

i was looking in the right place only i was using an old work environment and the options to save as a Railing/Stair object were missing.
